A performance on the edge of concert, installation, and living sculpture.
A compressed space, a physical mode of listening, a shared presence.
Ode au Chaos is a radical plastic exploration led by Eric Raynaud in close collaboration with drummer and percussionist Charles Dubois. Sound, image, and gesture rub against one another until they become matter.
An Engaging Stage Work
The performance is built upon a scenographic dispositif conceived as a compositional space in its own right — where sonic matter, instrumental gesture, and image in transformation converge.
Designed specifically for the stage, the set up transforms the performance space into an active plastic field between digital arts and contemporary creation. The image behaves like a living painting — textures, colors, and instabilities responding to musical dynamics.
Written in the form of a contemporary ode
The work is structured as a contemporary ode. Each chapter, articulated by concise textual interventions, acts as a moment of concentration — a rupture or tipping point from which the materials reorganize.
The piece unfolds through successive states: from organic density to unstable structure, and at times toward the disintegration of perceptual continuity.

Around the show
Alongside the performance, several types of artistic activities and educational initiatives can be considered, in line with the aesthetic and technical aspects of the piece:
- Discovery workshop: Spatial audio & immersive writing
- Masterclass: Chaos, writing, and unstable systems
- Public meeting: Creative process
- Professional workshop: Tools and sound immersion
