Thanks to the support from the European Union and Goethe Institut and Culture Moves Europe, i returned to spaes in Berlin to led a research residency on the project Xp.Iko started in 2023. This residency builds on a previous collaboration focused on adapting the XP spatial audio framework for the IKO loudspeaker, a unique instrument for immersive sound diffusion.
While the system is not yet ready for public distribution, the objective of this residency is to further develop and consolidate the framework, and to move toward a stable and usable version.
In parallel, this research lays the foundation for a new immersive audiovisual work based on this technology.
